  • Build A Sentence Look at the picture and arrange the words to build a sentence.
  • Spin & Disappear Dived the students into two teams. Students spin the spinner and identify the sight word. Then the students look for the matching sight word and click on it to make it disappear. If the student gets it right their team gets a point. If they do not it is the other team’s turn.
  • Color World 2-4 players. Spin the spinner and identify the color word. Move your game piece to the first matching color spot. If you land on GO BACK 1 SPACE, move it back one spot. Continue until someone reaches the finish. Winner must spin a RED.
  • Parking Lot Divide students into two teams. Students take turns matching the color of car to the color word parking lot. If the student matches correctly the team gets one point, if not it is the second team’s turn. Continue playing until all of the cars have been parked.
  • Slides & Steps 2-4 players begin by placing their games pieces on the START square. The first player rolls the die and moves forward the matching number of spaces. On each space the player needs to say the sight word in order to keep moving. If they don’t know a word, stay on their previous spot and it is the next player’s turn.
  • Checkers Follow the rules of playing checkers. To make a king, drag a king from your opponent’s box. When moving your piece to a square the player must identify the sight word before being allowed to stay on the square. Once a player has captured an opponent’s piece move it to your box. Continue playing until there is a winner.
  • Color Code
  • Color Goldfish Pop Identify the color sight word. Pop the bubble to check and see if you are correct.
  • Balloon Pop Divide students into two teams. Students take turns identifying the sight word on the balloon. If they get it right, the student pops the balloon and adds one point. If the student gets it wrong, the other team gets a chance to identify the sight word. Whichever team has the most points at the end of the game wins.
