Recognizing and celebrating these individual differences helps build self-esteem, fosters a supportive classroom environment, and encourages a sense of belonging. Here’s a friendly guide to helping students understand and appreciate their own uniqueness and the special qualities of their peers.
1. Define Individual Uniqueness
Start by explaining that everyone has unique traits, talents, and qualities that make them special. Help students understand that these differences are what make each person valuable and important.
